Why can no-one pronounce my daughter's name!?

So my baby girl is almost three months old, we named her Alyssa. Probably about 75% of people have mispronounced her name and it's really starting to get to me now! I don't want her having to go through life having to correct people all the time.
How would you pronounce Alyssa?

I wouldn’t say Alyssa at all. I’m surprised the people you know are having so much trouble with it! Strange! Is (was?? 😄) on our girl list!

Locally there’s a Ellissa, pronounced Alyssa, but that threw me as I read it first and thought ‘Ellis-uh. Huh!’ 🤷🏻‍♀️

I meant to say ‘I don’t think Alyssa is unusual at all’ 🙄

Primark head office do indeed pronounce it as preyemark.

I didn't realise Alyssa had any sort of dissent RE: pronunciation the way Alicia does - I'd only ever heard a-liss-ah, and I would think that that's the only possible way it can be pronounced, logically
