Max George?

Hi ladies,

So we think we might finally have a name for baby boy. Max. The only name we're able to agree on.

We have known from day one we would be using the name George as a middle name for a boy (DP's grandad's name). But does it work ok with Max?

When I first said it out loud I thought, hmm that sounds familiar? But couldn't think where I'd heard it before. Quick google search later and I found out Max George is the guy from the band the wanted. Not that it's a negative connotation but still ...

Are there many people that would actually realise that or am I being really silly?

Also do the two names work together? What with them both being one syllable names?

When I read it I immediately thought it sounds cool, then remembered about the guy from the wanted !

I wouldn't let it put me off , the wanted are a crap band they'll not be known in a few years !

Max is the only name we have agreed on so far too ! Really like it

I immediately thought of the guy from the Wanted too when I saw your title, but once combined with a surname I don't think people will think of that when they hear your child's name

I think it’s fine. He’s not that well known., plus the names aren’t ‘out there’.
It’s hardly Freddie Mercury or Barry Manilow

I skimmed active, saw the title and thought Asda had a new plus size range 😳

I think it's fine. I also thought of Max from the Wanted but I don't think he's going to be relevant when your son's growing up so people are going to forget the connection.
