Jasper for a boy- thoughts?

Thinking of boys names and favourite at the moment is Jasper but have heard that it sounds a bit posh! What do you think? Other names we like are Sebastian, Lucas/Luca and Theo. Looking for a nice but not common name... I remember when I was at school there were so many Olivers and Emmas and Sophies... we had to put the first letter of their surname after it to differentiate hehe. Let me know what you think xxx

I love it! We named our son Samuel and then 2 weeks later I thought of Jasper and wished so much we had gone for that!

I have a Jasper so am biased but its a great name - and believe me not posh in the slightest it does however suit his cheekiness

I like Jasper but it does sound quite posh! The only Jasper I know is a Beagle.... A very cute Beagle though lol. Sebastian is also quite posh sounding

My cat is called jasper, so I obviously like the name, putting that aside I think it's a lovely name and I don't actually know a child called jasper. I have a Lucas and know of one other in our area. So yes I like the names you've suggested!

I love Jasper. I would use it but I also worry it's a bit posh. I think Jas for short is cool too.

It's pretentious, you can't shorten it but it's a good pets name

I know two boys with this name, one is a bit 'posh' the other isn't.
It's a nice name, not overly popular. It could get shortened to 'Jas'

My son's best friend is called Jasper, he's not especially posh, but a real little character. Another friend has just had a baby and called him Jasper, and I know of one 40+.
Ds's friend gets called 'jazzy' . I think it's going to be relatively popular in the future.

haha, I had heard the pet name thing too. A friend of mine is called Molly and she said growing up everyone's dog was called Molly but still think it's pretty xxx
