Middle name for Archie

We kinda like the idea of him being AJ possibly... but any middle names we think of beginning with J one of us doesnt like... I love William but my partner doesnt... He loves traditional names, I like slightly more out there names.. Joshua is my brothers middle name, Jason is a no go.

Please suggest anything you can think of, it doesnt have to be J but i do kinda like the idea of AJ since that was the plan and its grown on me

I like AJ. We had a girl recently but if she was a boy we liked Jude and Jace.

My son is AJ for short, don't want to say his middle name as it is very outing but he loves his nick name much better than his first name which is obviously Archie

Just from the title I immediately thought of James, without reading that you liked AJ. I think they go well together.

@247 I really liked Jace but I know someone called Jason we call him Jase and I could never name my boy after him...

Every name beginning with J just doesnt sound right to me.. I can find an excuse for every one of them :(

@tiramisu1 I think it was originally but im not keen on archibald (its too old man like for me... but thats just my opinion of course) so we will go with Archie :)

@Kylieemilyj that's so strange me and my parter were thinking Archie for our little one and the middle name will be William after my late grandad.. but together I feel like it doesn't 'go'

I think that 'J' names don't sound good with Archie. It's something to do with the 'ch' of Archie sounding weird/being a little hard to say with the 'J' sound. Is it just me? If I say 'Archie James' or 'Archie Jack' it just doesn't sound right.

My nephew has Jay as a middle name.

Use Joshua - many people use family names as a middle name. Nice way to honour your brother?
