DH loves this name. I like it too, but have so far dismissed it as “too much”... am I right? I do think Phin for short is great and perhaps makes it more wearable? WDYT?

I really like the name 'Finn' for short but personally wouldn't go with it...

We have a Phin short for Phinehas. It suits him perfectly and we’ve had nothing but good comments.

Based on this thread, your son would have to correct people's spelling a lot. That would annoy me.

When I hear all I can think off in Phineas and Ferb If you like Phin, then go with Fin/Findlay

I don’t really like Findlay/Finlay/Finley — know too many!

I do know a Finbar, which is pretty awesome, but obviously already “taken”.
