A bit. I would go for something very different personally. What else do you like?

What about something like Joseph, Jonah/Jonas, Josiah, Joss, Jory or Joey called Joe for short? Then you/he would have other options if it becomes confusing.

I'd avoid the same letter - makes post for Mr J Surname very confusing!

Same letter is good for sharing things though and hand downs.

Just label everything J Surname.

Joe is lovely

I don't think post matters but do think they sound way too similar to be shouting up the stairs when you want one of them.
