Middle name(s) for Eilidh

Suggestions for middle name or names for Eilidh (roughly pronounced ay-lay)? Open to any idea, I'm not usually keen on super popular names as they tend to start sounding bland through overuse. Then again, how often does one say a middle name!

Are lots of unusual/not popular girls names generally that could suggest that would go but would be a long list! Just to help narrow it down a bit -
Are you wanting to keep in with the Gaelic/Scottish theme?
What kind of girl names (other than Eilidh obviously) do you like?
Also without saying what it is what is your surname like? Helps to get an idea of overall sound and see if there's any initial problems!

I think most people will say Ay-lee rather than Ay-lay. The latter seems a tad forced.

@Awwlookatmybabyspider it’s not ‘forced’, that’s how you pronounce it if you have a Scottish accent, where most Eilidhs are found! Smile

patphelan · 31/03/2019 23:11

I've got an Eilidh Anne.

I love the name. I also liked Eilidh Louise (dd1 has Louise as a middle name though) Eilidh Jane and Eilidh Marie

I'm Scottish and I pronounce it more like Ay-lee than Ay-lay. Maybe it's somewhere between the two?

Anyway....

Eilidh is a lovely name.
