Section later this morning, first baby, don't know the sex.

Girls shortlist sorted, boys are a nightmare - we like:

Archie (but overused)
Wolf
Hugh
Falcon
Merlin
Titus
Arno

Quite happy to be out there, like nature names (herbs, tree, animals), classical names, place names - any suggestions gratefully received!! TIA!

Hugh, I have one so obviously I love it! I get lots of nice comments on it and am yet to meet another baby/child Hugh.

MigThePig · 28/03/2019 09:57

We thought of Titus but it has terrible bullying potential, imagine being called Tits or Titty in the playground Shock

Barbarafromblackpool · 28/03/2019 10:01

Falcon.

Floralnomad · 28/03/2019 10:01

Thanks very much all ☺️ Archie it is, born just after 10am in the pleasantest most peaceful operation ever and very besotting for his mum and dad!

@NancyFrank ofc; Tabitha, Clara, Pippin, Margaux and Clover. I loved them all and hope for a girl next time (but not for a wee while!).

Bear Congratulations, and hello Archie!

Calloway · 29/03/2019 11:27

Congratulations to you and welcome, Archie! I was going to say there's no rush and it's fine if he's nameless for a few days, but it seems like you've settled on the right one. Glad you had such a positive birth experience Flowers

DorisDances · 29/03/2019 16:21

Congratulations- lovely news

kgeal3 · 31/03/2019 18:08

I have an Archie and he's the only one in his year group. I work at the school and in the whole school there are 3 at most. I think Alfie is used more (we had Alfie first) but glad we went with Archie
