Girls names:

Elodie
Macy
Sophia
Imogen
Hollie

Boys names:

Rory
Stanley
William
Finlay
Leonard

Can't decide which name to choose. Don't know what we are having so these are our shortlists. Middle names will be Alice for a girl and James for a boy. Help!!!

Elodie or Sophia - both beautiful.
Rory, William or Leonard - think I like Rory best.

Macy's horrible - sorry - and a very different style to the others. Imogen's OK, rather popular just now - and doesn't travel at all, in case that's important to you. Hollie - would prefer Holly, and think it only really suits a Christmas baby.

Not keen on Stanley or Finlay.

Elodie Alice
Alice Elodie

Rory James
William James

Are my favourites from the names you've listed. Elodie and Alice are such a pretty names & love Rory for a boy. Don't think any of them are in the realms of insanely popular/overused to the point where it would put me off.

Alice and Rory

Thanks everyone seems like Rory is front runner so far for a boy.
I agree with PP about Hollie being a Christmas name so that does put me off and I probably would spell it Holly anyway!
Alice is what I would like the middle name to be because for some reason I can’t see past ‘who the f is Alice’ enough for a first name haha.

Rory is difficult to pronounce for some people, they struggle with the Rs.

Ribbonsonabox · 22/03/2019 12:22

Imogen and Leonard
