Decided to stick with my girls name Matilda which I love, despite its popularity. Nothing else is coming close to it.

Am looking for a middle name now, if you all could help please.
Would prefer a short middle name as first name quite long. Surname begins with B, so nothing beginning with B as it wont flow. I also dislike virtue names.

What do you all think of Matilda Ettie B.........

Don’t like Ettie at all....sounds like a sneeze

Am liking Matilda Violet (maybe too long though as sons names are quite short), Matilda Evie, Matilda Elsie or Matilda Ettie. Hmmm its so hard. With my sons I knew the name was right and struggling to feel that.

The problem is I work in a job where alot of names I associate with people I've known, of all ages! So puts me off alot of names!

Ettie just doesn't feel or look like a name to me. I'd assume you''d missed a letter out somewhere. And I'm not keen on shortened names that appear twee, so that would rule out Evie or Elsie as well. Eve or Elizabeth are much better. Elizabeth is quite long after Matilda, but that's what I'd go for.
