I much prefer Georgia Anne. However if Georgia Luisa were an option I would prefer that.

HK20 · 09/03/2019 08:56

I second Georgia Luisa, but if that's not a possibility then Georgia Anne :)

Melonwater · 09/03/2019 08:59

No, I'm not swapping the middle names alike for a couple of reasons.

Not keen on either tbh.

Georgia is fine but has been done to death for the past 20 odd years (I went to school with loads in the 90s/2000s). Anne is my middle name and I hate it. Forever saying 'Anne with an e'!

Carla seems very dated, bit 1970s...

I like Luisa though! Would be my pick as a first name.

Peachbubble · 09/03/2019 09:24

Carla Luisa gets my vote

Screenburn · 09/03/2019 09:31

They’ve both got a very different feel to them - Georgia Anne is very Deep South, Carla Luisa kind of Italian...

Carla Luisa by a long chalk.

ShinyMe · 09/03/2019 09:46

Georgia Anne sounds as though parents are huge Famous Five fans, so a no from me.

User67836 · 09/03/2019 11:19

My sister is Carla and she hates it.

Nonameyet1 · 09/03/2019 11:32

Georgia is a lovely name, I’d choose that over Carla.

youngerself · 09/03/2019 11:48

No help here - I really like both!

Saffrona · 09/03/2019 13:37

Georgia.

I don’t like Carla.

I’m not taking middle names into account because to be honest, who actually uses them

KingHenrysCodpiece · 09/03/2019 14:20

Georgia definitely. Not sure about the Anne

Don't like Carla

littlemeitslyn · 09/03/2019 16:34

'Famous five ' 🤣🤣

DramaAlpaca · 09/03/2019 16:42

Carla of the two.

Bayleyf · 09/03/2019 16:44

Georgia Anne.

Carla Luisa sounds like an 18th century Hapsburg duchess.

JassyRadlett · 09/03/2019 16:49

The trouble with Georgia Anne is that it very easily sounds like ‘Georgia Ran’ unless people are careful with their speaking.

And yes, also Famous Five.

Pemba · 09/03/2019 16:50

Georgia Anne. I like Georgia, but the whole name doesn't flow very well.
If you say it fast it can sound like Georgia Ran. I would prefer a different middle name that doesn't begin with a vowel sound, or Georgia Luisa (Luisa is lovely), but you say you are not going to do that.

Carla is OK, but a bit meh and slightly dated. Carlotta is nicer.

libellule1 · 09/03/2019 16:55

Georgia

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 09/03/2019 16:56

Georgia

scissorlover · 09/03/2019 16:58

I just can’t picture a baby called Carla!

Sophronia · 09/03/2019 17:01

Carla. I prefer Georgina to Georgia.

HaventGotAllDay · 09/03/2019 17:03

I like both.
Carla at a push though. Very elegant and due a revival.

17caterpillars1mouse · 09/03/2019 19:47

I really like Carla (also like Carly)

Carla is different and feels a bit fiesty which I like. I prefer Louisa but assuming you've chosen the spelling you have for a reason

user1466783975 · 09/03/2019 19:55

My daughter is a Georgia Anne! She's 19 and there were a few Georgias around at that time. Not so many now (we are in the midlands)

mrsm43s · 10/03/2019 01:07

I'd go for Louisa Ann. So not quite any of your options/spellings. Not keen on Georgia or Carla tbh.
