Lottie definitely. It's beautiful.
Amelie is far too popular now and will a Karen of years gone by I fear.

Lottie, short for Charlotte.

WingingItAsIGo · 09/03/2019 12:14

I have one but the love the other too!

ArtisanPopcorn · 09/03/2019 12:15

Lottie short for Charlotte. Amelie is very current. Charlotte will stand the test of time better

I always wanted a dd called Amelie but I have twin boys. Sadly it’s heavily used these days so if I had a dd I probably wouldn’t use it. I don’t think it will date though - its a beautiful name.

I’d do Charlotte over Lottie

Trills · 09/03/2019 12:26

Charlotte if you want Lottie.

chiarazuri · 09/03/2019 12:47

Amelie is beautiful!

If you go for Amelie, will it irritate you if people mishear and refer to her as Emily / Amelia?

Madmarchpear · 09/03/2019 14:28

Amelie for me. It's very feminine and stands out. I've never known of one and I don't think it's that common in the North. Lottie on it's own is a dogs name like Alfie or Charlie.

CloserIAm2Fine · 09/03/2019 18:01

I’m not really a fan of Amelie although I like Amelia

I love Lottie as a nickname for Charlotte
