Reuben or Ruben

I have settled on the name Reuben/Ruben for my baby boy.

However i cant decided on the spelling??

I originally thought the name was Reuben however friends told me the spelling was Ruben.

Im now starting to think Ruben is less likely to be miss spelt or miss pronounced or am i wrong? Any parents of a reuben?

I have only ever seen it spelled Reuben

Me too, i have an Irish spelling name that looks nothing how it is spelt and has been years and years of miss pronunciation and miss spelling which i hated so i was starting to wonder was Ruben a safer option
