April, May and June are all common names. How about July as a given female name? Inspired by recent BBC drama but love it!

Julie

I like it. Does remind me of the Long Song though.

GlitterPixie · 01/03/2019 22:19

One of the orphans in Annie was called July

RockyFlintstone · 01/03/2019 22:22

I don't see why not. I used to know someone called September (it's actually quite a nice name!) , and there is January Jones the actress.

The only thing is it will often get mistaken for Julie I think.

Sophronia · 01/03/2019 22:57

I quite like it as a middle name.

PantTwizzler · 01/03/2019 23:04

Doesn’t appeal to me.

NuffSaidSam · 01/03/2019 23:31

I don't like it.

It looks like a creative spelling for Julie.

Also, in my accent it's sounds like 'd'you lie?'

ReaganSomerset · 02/03/2019 05:37

Yes, looks like you were going for Julie but got it wrong.

Bumblebeesmum · 02/03/2019 10:15

I think they’d spend their life correcting people calling them Julie

daisypond · 02/03/2019 10:20

I take your point, and I like it as a name as well. But there are already established girls' names for that month - which was named after Julius - like Julia/Julie/Juliet, etc. But I still think you could use it.

BlueMerchant · 02/03/2019 10:26

I don't like it, but I don't mind January, May and June. Maybe it's because I've never heard of a July and it's so unusual to think of it as a name.
