I know a Rubee. Not the most younique I've heard and actually don't mind it.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 21/02/2019 17:02

It’s not the craziest really, is it?

Soubriquet · 21/02/2019 17:04

Oh come on. It’s not bad.

It’s not KVIIIlyn now is it?

That’s Caitlin btw and yes it was really used

MrsJayy · 21/02/2019 17:05

It is not the worst really is it Double E used to be quite popular when Dd was born and Rubee looks the sameish era.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 21/02/2019 17:06

Shock soubriquet, really?

SemperIdem · 21/02/2019 17:07

It’s dreadful

Soubriquet · 21/02/2019 17:07

yes really

MrsJayy · 21/02/2019 17:10

Considering there is a Rusty jauntily sitting there Rubee isn't too bad

MrsJayy · 21/02/2019 17:12

Rubee has a job and everything with her younique nameGrin

BikeRunSki · 21/02/2019 17:16

DM just mentioned this.
I enlightened her to the Aimieie at the dc’s school.

MrsJayy · 21/02/2019 17:18

Dd went to school with variations of Aimee's

Bunnybigears · 21/02/2019 17:18

Judge Judy (you can tell its half term) just had a Spring which I thought was very odd. Summer, Autumn and Winter are kind of ok but Spring just sounds odd.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 21/02/2019 18:34

KVIIIlyn???

No! Tell me you’re joking?

Soubriquet · 21/02/2019 18:41

Nope...link up thread

Serin · 21/02/2019 23:10

FFS, there is a real person behind that name, and she is probably a whole lot nicer than you overtheirishsea

AlliKaneErikson · 21/02/2019 23:12

I saw a Keight on there once (actually, it may have been The Weakest Link, but close!).

Arnoldthecat · 21/02/2019 23:14

Rubee was just lovely :)

PodgeBod · 21/02/2019 23:17

If you came on here asking for opinions on calling your baby Rubee you would be ripped apart Hmm so let's not act like OP is a bad person

TheFuckfaceWhisperer · 21/02/2019 23:18

I'm confused. Are people spelling unique like the overpriced makeup brand as some kind of in-joke I've missed?

RLOU30 · 21/02/2019 23:20

@Serin

Spot on.

RLOU30 · 21/02/2019 23:21

@PodgeBod

But that’s not what’s happened.

User10fuckingmillion · 21/02/2019 23:24

PodgeBod-yes, pre birth! There is a difference.

SD1978 · 21/02/2019 23:26

@TheFuckfaceWhisperer- yes. Changing the spelling to indicate the ridiculousness of the need to spell a name differently that's still said the same way, in some weird fecked up need to be different.

TheFuckfaceWhisperer · 21/02/2019 23:37

Cheers SD1978.

I know somebody that called her DS Danyal. Nowt wrong with Daniel if you ask me

BikeRunSki · 23/02/2019 17:13

Danyal is an Islamic name.
