Raya or Lara

I posted before and suggested few names. Most people voted for Raya and Lara
Now between these two names . What are your thoughts ?? 💭

Or better yet...Laya (pronounced lay-ya) can be spelt Laya/Leya/Leah/Leia. I think she is the daughter of Jacob.

Laya is the best of both worlds between Raya and Lara.

How is Raya pronounced? Like ray of sun or like Ra, the Egyptian sun god?

In either case, I prefer Raya.

Raya is the name of a dating app so I'd probably go for Lara.

Or Luna?

If I had to pick one I guess Lara as DC's school is full of Raya/Kaya/Jaya/Taya/Maya.

Oh... Just realised the last post about Raya was posted by a different username.

Raya means line and scribble in Spanish, I prefer Lara. Leia as someone mentioned is a beautiful name .

@Cosmoa sorry they are the girl versions of Kaiden/Jayden/Brayden/Aiden to me. We're in North Wales and the local accent does nothing for the names!
However if you love it you should use it, my kids have names that are not always well received on here but I love them.

@Noots No worries! I almost called my daughter Kaia last year but found a name I liked a tiny bit more! If I ever had another though she'd be Kaia. My OH is from North Wales but he has a bit of a non-accent now if that makes sense?
