Edwin/ Raymond

My grandpa and my ex's grandad were both named Edwin
I'm not too keen on the name, but was wondering if you could think of any variations that might honor it?
Or the name Raymond, as that was ex's father's name?

I dont like either sorry.but Eddy is cute.

Raymond isn't a name you hear much these days, the shortened version Ray is more the norm I think in a man of a certain age.

I remember a Raymond in my class at school in the 70's and he was a lovely little boy. Love the name Edwin and also Edmund for a variation.

I like Edward/Edmund/Ted/Teddy or Ray

I love them both. Ed, Eddie, Edwin. Ray, Raymond. Lovely.

I'm not really keen on either myself to be honest, but I feel that it would be fitting to name after either of them because they will be the only ones continuing on either of the family surnames (so far at least...).
I'm only 9+4 so I have plenty of time though!!

Edwin as a middle name?

I know a 3 year old Raymond. I really like it.

I luffs Raymond & Edgar. Not so keen on Eddie, I suppose.

I really like Edwin. It's my late Uncle and cousin's middle name.

I love Edwin with Ned as a shortening.

Edmund, perhaps, as a (sort of) blend of Edwin and Raymond?

Of the 2 I prefer Raymond.
Edwin is ok but please not Ned.

I don't know why people insist on calling their baby a name after family members when they don't even like the name, just use it as a middle name
