Sergio?

AuditAngel · 11/02/2019 08:02

I have a Valentino (middle name Alessandro)

Also love Rafael
Francisco

Pepino means cucumber? But the meaning may be in Spanish

AuditAngel · 11/02/2019 08:03

I know a Giovanni too (known as a Gio)

poochuspoochus · 11/02/2019 09:25

My friend who is Italian has a wee boy called Domenico.

ThanksItHasPockets · 11/02/2019 11:20

Be warned if your DS is going to grow up in the U.K. that for some reason everyone will insist on pronouncing the first syllable of a ‘Gio’ name as ‘jee-oh’.

Paradyning · 11/02/2019 12:15

Antonio
Stefano
Sebastian
Paolo
Domenic
Filippo

Not fucking Luca. That was one of 'my names' until it's been taken over by non-Italian British neds. Some even spell it Lucca. Arrgghh

Paradyning · 11/02/2019 12:15

Carmine is lovely too

Bw3344 · 11/02/2019 12:23

We have a little one just turned six months and his name is Enzo, we absolutely adore it and knew there was no other name we wanted for him. His dads surname is Spanish so his name is Enzo Martinez and we love it ♡

Realitea · 11/02/2019 12:25

Americo, valentino, allesando

Paradyning · 11/02/2019 12:28

Enzo is lovely

LeeMiller · 12/02/2019 07:39

Some favourites of mine:

Francesco
Federico
Ludovico
Elio
Cosimo
Lorenzo
Valentino
Vittorio
Amedeo
Zeno

I also like Salvatore, Raffaele and Vito but they are very regional so it depends where in Italy your DP is from.

I would avoid Giovanni, Giacomo, Giorgio, Giuseppe etc as English speakers tend to pronounce Gi as Jee.

CatSmize · 12/02/2019 13:14

Piero
Ignazio
Gianluca

As mentioned upthread, Rocco is my favourite.
