A sibling for Violet

Our daughter, Violet is going to be a sister in August. What names would you suggest for her baby brother’s or sister’s name?

Ideally something that can be shortened as DH’s side of the family have given Violet a nickname that she’s referred to all the time.

Thanks in advance.

It depends, for a girl do you want to continue down the flowery route? Violet and Primrose would be lovely, with Prim for short (which is adorable IMO)

Boy names are a little harder, Joseph or George maybe?

Klaus or Sunny.

In all seriousness though, I'd say Christopher and Imogen.

Myusernameismud · 10/02/2019 22:26

I also think Amy is a lovely girls name, and not hugely popular these days. Or Ivy if continuing the flowery theme.

Jessi88 · 10/02/2019 22:27

@Myusernameismud We’d probably keep any other floral or colour names as options for middle names instead. Primrose is on that list :)

Klaus and Sunny

Setting them up nicely for a lifetime of unfortunate events Grin

Myusernameismud · 10/02/2019 22:28

OK, non floral Penelope/Penny? Or Florence/Flo

I think Florence goes really well with Violet

Olivia? Liv for short.
Just because it has some of the same letters as Violet.
