Love both and we can’t decide so are putting it to the mumsnet jury. Isadora would be nn Dora and Cassia nn Cassie

Cassia

jackstini · 09/02/2019 16:30

What letter does your surname begin with and how many syllables?
Middle names?

2019hereicome · 09/02/2019 16:32

I prefer Isadora. Cassia is nice too though.

Lolalolacabana · 09/02/2019 16:32

Middle name will either be Elizabeth or Violet (mine and dh’s mums’ names).
Surname is Flynn

Cassia, because I like Cassie & I don't like Dora.

3out · 09/02/2019 16:34

I like isadora, but for me my head will always turn it into ‘ Wizadora, we adore her, she’s the one who will brighten up your day’

Tavannach · 09/02/2019 16:35

Isadora or Cassandra

Lolalolacabana · 09/02/2019 16:36

Then I prefer Isadora.
Cassia sounds like an exotic fruit flavour to me.

lapufalina · 09/02/2019 16:49

My friend has a Cassiopeia NN Cassie, I love that!

FunkyLemon · 09/02/2019 16:53

isadora

Peachbubble · 09/02/2019 17:54

Cassia

IVflytrap · 09/02/2019 18:15

Cassia, with Violet as the middle name, as it flows better than Elizabeth. Isadora isn't bad, but she could end up as an Izzy, like so many of the thousands of young Isabelle/Isabellas around at the moment. Cassia is a bit different.

Ribbonsonabox · 09/02/2019 18:17

Love Isadora!!

Bumblebeesmum · 09/02/2019 18:20

I think Isadora is lovely

HappyGoLuckyGo · 09/02/2019 19:03

Cassia Flynn! The clear winner. 👍🏻

OggyOggy · 09/02/2019 19:08

What about Middie-Classia?

Ticks all the socioeconomic boxes.

guiltypleasurenamenerd · 09/02/2019 19:15

Definitely isadora.
It’s a take on Isabelle but I love the “adora” bit, it makes me think of “adore” and the “a” ending is so feminine.

Cassia feels made up to me.

jackstini · 09/02/2019 19:18

I like Isadora best with Flynn
Middle names I like Isadora Violet and Cassia Elizabeth

17caterpillars1mouse · 09/02/2019 20:26

Isadora

lottiegarbanzo · 09/02/2019 20:32

Might Cassia be pronounced Cash-a or Cash-ya by Americans (and maybe others)? The same way that Alicia and Felicia are pr. Aleesha and Feleesha?

Makes me think of currants. Haven't heard of it as a name.

Isadora is lovely.

GCAcademic · 09/02/2019 20:36

Cassia is an ingredient I use in curries. It’s basically a kind of cinnamon. To me that would be like calling your child Cardamom or Fenugreek.

Baby2namehelp · 09/02/2019 20:49

Isidore is lovely

Baby2namehelp · 09/02/2019 20:49

Ahh autocorrect I meant Isadora

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 09/02/2019 21:00

Cassia. Isadora just seems fake to me.
