Help narrow down shortlist

There are 3 names on mine and DH agreed shortlist, however I don’t love any of them.

They are;
Alice
Erin
Phoebe

I really wanted Iris or Ivy but DH doesn’t like either. He doesn’t have any other suggestions so it really needs to be one of the 3 above but I just haven’t fallen in love with them.

Sibling is Elliot if it helps.

I love Erin. Elliot and Erin sound lovely together

Phoebe. (I have an Iris and this was my second choice).

I honestly thought Erin was a boy’s name until a year ago.

Phoebe was my choice for a girl along with Nia, Elin and Caitlin. Had 2 boys so they're all yours!

Of the 3 I’d go for Phoebe , I like Erin equally but I wouldn’t go for same sibling initials as a personal preference. I always think Alice is a bit dull .

Yes I think I want to rule Erin out because of the same initial.

Phoebe is my favourite of the 3, but I don’t love it yet. Struggling to find anything else I like instead though!

What about Daphne? It's in the same category as Phoebe in my head!

I like Alice but don't like Erin. And I agree with your DH about Iris and Ivy, sorry.

I love the names Iris and Ivy - sorry your DH doesn't like them. Out of your list I'd choose Phoebe, but it may get shortened - my DD's friend is known as Feebs, which isn't quite so pretty (though it suits her!)

Alice is my favourite, Phoebe is also pretty.

I'm not keen on Erin, and agree with your DH about Ivy and Iris.

Out of your shortlist I like Phoebe best. Ivy and Iris are both on my shortlist! Other names you might like are Freya, Cora, Edith, Imogen?

All three are so different! I’m not a fan of matching initials and both Alice and Phoebe are lovely. Alice is classy and simple where as Phoebe sounds strong. You can’t go wrong

Phoebe, it's a lovely, strong sounding name

I find Alice a bit bland and Erin is pretty but i would avoid a second E name

I think if DH doesnt like your choices of Ivy or Iris, then you shouldn't just be resorting to one of his 3 choices. This has to be a joint decision, and if you don't really love them, then I think you need to keep trying until you both find one you really love.

I agree with Shadow. I think you need to up with a new list. You don’t have to use one of dh’s names if you don’t love them.

I like Phoebe with Elliott best. Iris is lovely though.

Don’t settle, I settled and while I like my child’s name, I still regret not using the name I really wanted.
