Has anyone got any ideas??? Boy names please. I do not like any name I hear. I've even bought a baby book. Been through every name in the book and I don't seem to like anything. Everyone keeps telling me to wait until he's born! It's not gonna make a difference to me. I hate everything.x

Pick a name for sentimental reasons? A relative you admire, a character from a favourite book / film, the name of your favourite author / actor / singer? Sometimes positive associations change the way you feel about a name.

Top choices for a boy for me would be Alfie - my granddad - Ronnie - other granddad - Jude, Stanley, Archie, Flynn and Nathaniel. All strong names - in my opinion - but family names too.

Hard to suggest names without any indication of what kind of names you’re swaying towards - there are literally 1000s of names but if you’ve read the entire baby book it’s a big stab in the dark to just say a few and hope it’s one you’ve never heard before in the style you like.

What kind of name are you looking for? Do you like traditional names? Unusual names? Nature names? Long nanes which can be abbreviated to a nickname? Religious names? Are there any names you like but don’t quite love that could give an idea as to the kind of style you might like?

I would like the name to begin with C if that helps lol. As any other names beginning tha don't begin with c don't sound right with the surename.

@mummytobe44 I'm due any day with a boy and feel exactly the same! Why are boys names so hard?!

MyNewBearTotoro · 06/02/2019 22:12

I think this website must have just about every boys name beginning with C, it’s an extensive list: www.thebump.com/b/baby-boy-names-that-start-with-c

And if you really can’t find one maybe a name beginning with the hard K sound would be an alternative that still sounds okay with your surname: www.thebump.com/b/baby-boy-names-that-start-with-k

Good luck!

Conrad Goes by Connie, to his friends and family. Tall and slim. Long legs. Likes to swim, but only as a hobby not as a sport. A true bibliophily. Has a innate desire to devour the world around him. Prone to sadness and bouts of depressions. Has an absurdist sense of humour. Will most likely become a therapist, psychologist or writer. Wears tweed jackets with patches. A little bit shy. Needs someone to help him break out of his shell. Finds that someone in a girl he meets in college. Her name is Anika. They lose touch for 15 years only to find each other again in his village, while she is way on holiday. They fall in love again and stay there until there dying days.

Hope you enjoyed my character as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Good luck on your name quest and Congratulations! Smile Flowers

Ok so it’s ‘c’. Any idea if old fashioned/classic/unusual/youoooneek/ etc or number of syllables preferred ??
