I have come up with a shortlist of 3 for my immune arrival so, out of the 3, which would you choose :)?

Dominic
Gregory
Oliver.

Dominic. I always wanted to call a son Dominic, but in the end we have three girls and no boys. Grin

TigerQuoll · 04/02/2019 11:11

I like Dominic. He needs to have dark/black hair, brown eyes, pale skin and freckles and be tall to pull it off in my mind (I must have known someone like that).

As well as Dom, he can be Nic or Nicky

JacksonPillock · 04/02/2019 11:12

Dominic is great! Love it.

OutPinked · 04/02/2019 17:20

I only like Oliver. Gregory is a middle aged man’s name, I can’t imagine a baby Greg in 2019 Grin. Never liked Dominic.

tammytoby · 04/02/2019 17:21

Oliver is so so overused!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 04/02/2019 17:22

Dominic

daisypond · 04/02/2019 19:02

All are OK. I like Dominic best, I think. But I also like Gregory - it's fresh these days. Oliver is nice but perhaps feels a little tired now.

Dontrocktheboat · 04/02/2019 19:05

Dominic is lovely.

Not keen on Gregory as it will become Greg, which sounds a bit dated, but Oliver is my least favourite as it is ubiquitous and dull.

Bumblebeesmum · 04/02/2019 20:45

I’m surprised people like Gregory it sounds like a 40 year old to me. Similar feel to Jeffrey. Nothing wrong with it just hard to imagine on a little one. Dominic is a lovely name as is Oliver.

Love Gregory

jessstan2 · 05/02/2019 20:25

I love all three names.
Haven't heard of many Gregories recently but it is an excellent name and 'Greg' sounds cool, so I'd probably choose Gregory.

SwedishEdith · 05/02/2019 21:03

I love Gregory but Greg Wallace has just popped into my head. Still love it.

Love Dominic as well but wouldn't want it shortened. Could get Nic/k out of it.

Oliver is nice but too popular.

ZebraKid71 · 05/02/2019 21:25

I love Dominic! Unfortunately my dh doesn't 😭

Sockthief22 · 05/02/2019 21:25

My best friend is a Gregory and I think the world of him :)

Don't like Dominic. Just don't like the sound of it.. and then they get 'Dom' which... well yeh.

Oliver-overused IMO.

ABitOTT · 05/02/2019 22:55

Oliver - don't care how popular it is, I have always loved this name & always will.
Dominic - it is ok. Haven't heard of any baby boys with this name, but I know quite a few Dominics who are 40+ & privately educated.
Gregory - I know of two adult Gregorys. One is in prison & one is my DD's ex boyfriend who was a lazy, selfish git & I'm glad the relationship ended. Weirdly I quite like the name, just not the Gregs I have met!

HPLikecraft · 06/02/2019 00:21

Dominic is a great name, I like the old latiny ness of it.

Gregory is great, reminds me of Rasputin.

Oliver is dull and overused

Didyeeaye · 06/02/2019 00:40

Gregory is my favourite on your list. It's cool and a bit different but would suit a man as well as a kid. Plus I loved the film Gregory's girl lol

POP7777777 · 06/02/2019 00:43

Dominic

moredoll · 06/02/2019 00:46

Dominic is lovely.
Prefer Gregor to Gregory.
Oliver is fine but maybe overused.

RumerGodden · 06/02/2019 00:49

Dominic is very catholic. Gregory can be a bit difficult...
Oliver is horribly popular...for a good reason..it's a good name, good nickname possibilities...

but go with what you like....just do it.

tammytoby · 06/02/2019 13:53

What good nicknames can you get from Oliver other than Olly..Confused?

tammytoby · 06/02/2019 13:53

Liver Grin

KarineAimee · 06/02/2019 16:02

Gregory! It was on my shortlist before we found out that I’m having a girl. (Along with Marcus and Dylan, in case you need any more ideas!)
