Whitney Avery or Whitney Luna

Good evening!
Our last name has one syllable, and we are now hesitating between Whitney Avery and Whitney Luna.
Reasons:
Whitney Avery: Rhymes perfectly, and we love the meaning "elf" for Avery. Also gose well with the one syllable last name.
Whitney Luna: We are a little bit not sure because it just doesn't work with our last name, but we LOVE LOVE the name luna. It's such a soft-sounding, simple, sweet, and uncommon name!
Which one do you guys like better? Please don't give us new first and/or middle names, we just want to know you guys' opinion on these two names. If you can tell us why you like either one, it would be great.

Avery is a boys name. It’s an Anglo Saxon version of Alfred. That’s where the ‘elf’ meaning comes from.

Well, we know several girls named Avery, and it also sounds feminine to us, so I guess at least it's a girl name to us...?

Up to you it’s your baby after all! I’m just pointing out it’s origins. It’s like the trend of names girls Elliot or James for me personally.

Avery is also a (male) death eater in Harry Potter.

Also, we just found and are in live with the name Athena, but are not sure on it. Maybe Whitney Athena?
