Which one? Can’t decide! Is Clara more classic than Lara?

Like Lara, don't like Clara. The Cl makes me think of clumsy.
I like Cara and Lara.

If you are pronouncing Clara to rhyme with Lara I'd pick Lara, which is lovely although 'Clah-ra' is OK. This is the continental European pronunciation.

But I still prefer the original English pronunciation 'Claira' which everyone is fast forgetting, maybe partly due to the Doctor Who character, so I find 'Clah-ra' a bit annoying right now.

Clara - it's just got more to it. Lara is a bit boring...also there are vegan protein bars called Lara bars, so that puts me off.

Lara. Clara is going to be quite popular this year I'd imagine, due to the Disney Nutcracker film that came out last Christmas.
