The only middle name I'm keen on is Stella which I really like, although don't think Gracie Stella goes. Sorry, bit of an unhelpful comment!

BillywigSting · 31/01/2019 23:09

I like gracie Lydia j (I'm guessing at something like Jones for the j)

Shadow1234 · 31/01/2019 23:14

The only one I really like is Gracie Karina (although I Prefer it spelt with a 'C' as in Carina or Corina (it just looks softer to me).

MusicWaves72006 · 31/01/2019 23:23

@Shadow1234:
Yeah, I kind of agree with you, but DH just really like a middle name beginning with K to go with Gracie because he thinks it goes well and looks good.

Karina. It flows the best. Gracie Persephone is too many "ee" sounds and the styles of the two names are much too different. Gracie Lydia is OK. Gracie Stella sounds wrong, somehow.

Thequaffle · 31/01/2019 23:25

Gracie Belle

MusicWaves72006 · 31/01/2019 23:30

@Thequaffle:
Thanks, but we feel like one syllable middle names just sound wrong with the one syllable last name. For example, Gracie Belle Hall just sounds.... incomplete.

@Kokeshi123:
Ah, yes! I was kind of confused at first, but then I realized that GraSIE Stella just has way too many S's. (Not sure if that's what you mean, but thanks any way)

@BillywigSting:
Not really, but (I know it would sound super weird to some people if I say this) we consider Jones as a two syllable word, because it's Jone-s. For example, we have a friend whose last name is Walsh, and everybody says that it's has two syllables. But we don't, because we think it's Wal-sh. (Well, at least we think these kind of names are not exactly one syllable. Probably a syllable and a half)

Personally I would go for a two syllable middle name but maybe one starting with a vowel to break up the names.
Gracie Emma
Gracie Alice
Gracie Anna
Gracie Evelyn

I'm sorry that's not answering your op, but personally I don't think any of them flow nicely.

If you are determined on a k name I think Gracie Kate sounds pretty sweet

BinkyBuntyFintyCunty · 31/01/2019 23:46

Gracie Kate. There’s your K.

I think two syllable first and middle names don’t work. Know someone who has Emily Lily. Not good.

@WitBeyondMeasure:
Thanks 😀

When I read this Gracie Isabel popped into my head - not sure the e and i next to each other works tho.

MusicWaves72006 · 31/01/2019 23:58

@IdBlowJonSnow:
I think it works, but the problem is that Gracie is already pretty girly, so we want kind of a neutral name (like Lydia or Kate) to even it out (and what I mean by Neutral is not like gender neutral, it's the kind of neutral between Annie and Allison).

Jane, or Jayne. A beautiful if now unpopular name.

MusicWaves72006 · 01/02/2019 00:07

@Magenta46:
Sorry, but we both just really dislike Jane. Don't want to say why, just NO
Thanks for helping though

Right now, our considerations are Gracie Lydia J, Gracie Karina J, and Gracie Amelia J.

Astronica · 01/02/2019 00:10

I think Gracie Lydia and Gracie Karina both sound great. I love Persephone but it doesn't flow well after Gracie. Stella doesn't work as well because the 's' sounds run into each other. 3 syllable names like Lydia and Karina really work with Gracie and the surname. I'm finding it hard to choose between those 2 - I like the stylishness of Lydia, but also the feistiness of Karina.

@Astronica:
I know, right?! And thanks for helping!

Anything but May.
I think all of your middle names are lovely BUT all sit better with Grace not Gracie. Persephone and Stella I like less with Gracie asnthey introduce too many sybillant s’s Into the name.
Lydia is a favourite name of mine. How about Lydia grace.

MusicWaves72006 · 01/02/2019 00:16

@HeronLaynon:
Umm... Sorry but not really, since we're asking for opinions for her middle name...

OP posts:
HeronLanyon · 01/02/2019 00:23

Understood. How annoying eh at least I did answer your q.

RonaldMcDonald · 01/02/2019 00:25

Tracey

Astronica · 01/02/2019 00:35

I don't like Gracie Amelia as much as Lydia and Karina because the vowel sounds at the end and beginning run into each other, and also Amelia is very popular and more expected than Lydia or Karina.

On balance I think Gracie Lydia is my favourite. Lovely name!

Sessy19 · 01/02/2019 07:57

You have these beautiful names set out and you’re relegating them to ‘middle name’ in favour of bleugh ‘Gracie’?
