What are your thoughts about the name Joel for a boy. I really like it! but don't see it being used much and wanted to get ppl's thoughts. Is it dated?!
Thanks

A family member just named their baby Joel, I love it. Cute and different but not trying to be unique (and a real name!)

jackstini · 28/01/2019 15:04

Lovely name. It was one of my possible choices for DS2.

My son has a similar style name (Old Testament, lovely and underused IMO)

Butterfly84 · 28/01/2019 22:11

Adore Joel. Just classic, strong and underused.

Astronica · 28/01/2019 22:37

I really like it. A bonus that it's not over-used.

MarchInHappiness · 28/01/2019 23:00

I quite like it too! Did consider it for DS2 but DH was not keen.

MissLanesAmericanCousin · 28/01/2019 23:51

My first impressions of the name Joel;

Joel is smart and studious. Has a great love for animals especially cats. His smile radiates warmth and kindness. Can be a bit overly sensitive to criticism. Wants to be a vet when he grows up, but becomes a medical doctor instead. Very fair-minded. Likes a good argument. Family oriented. Loves being a father and husband. A deep thinker. Can be rigid at times, but is flexible enough to see the error in his thinking. Can admit when he is wrong. Tells lousy jokes. A good judge of character.

Hope you enjoyed my light hearted description! Congratulations! Flowers Smile

HisBetterHalf · 28/01/2019 23:54
