Help me choose a middle name for DS

Hi, we’re expecting our DS in 7 weeks time. We have definitely decided on Reuben as a first name, but are a bit stuck for a middle name still. We considered not having a middle name for him but the rest of the family do so it only seems fair that he has a middle name too. Our surname is short, one syllable. Which do you like the best out of these names:

Reuben William
Reuben Alexander
Reuben Arthur
Reuben George
Reuben Elijah
Reuben Oliver
Reuben Elliot
Reuben Luke

Thanks! X

Alexander goes really nicely with the first name

Princesspeachy0 · 28/01/2019 14:35

I like Alexander and George.

Lou0712 · 28/01/2019 14:39

George or Alexander sound the best in my opinion!

ApolloandDaphne · 28/01/2019 14:40

There is something very pleasing about Reuben Alexander.

Aprilshowersarecomingsoon · 28/01/2019 14:42

Reuben James

I like a longer middle name with a one syllable surname.

Reuben Alexander Name - love this
Reuben Theodore Name
Reuben Gregory Name
Reuben Dominic Name
Reuben Timothy Name
Reuben Zachary Name

Or slightly more obscure
Reuben Cassius Name
Reuben Sylvester Name
Reuben Lysander Name
Reuben Matthias Name
Reuben Xavier Name

Just double check your initials! My choices would be Reuben Alexander or Reuben Xavier.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/01/2019 19:36

Alexander

helpmum2003 · 28/01/2019 19:39

They're all lovely but I would go for one of the slightly shorter names George or Arthur.

Don't think you can go far wrong with any of them and you know the surname also.

TheVanguardSix · 28/01/2019 19:42

George.

Reuben George

It flows perfectly.

Congratulations... almost! SmileFlowers

Fraula · 28/01/2019 19:44

Agee, George.

Fraula · 28/01/2019 19:44

Agree!

Shadow1234 · 28/01/2019 20:18

Elliot or Elijah are my favourites

Needingwine · 28/01/2019 20:39

I think Alexander or William work best. Lovely name choice x

Sophronia · 28/01/2019 21:29

Reuben George

Butterfly84 · 28/01/2019 22:12

Reuben Luke 100%

Astronica · 28/01/2019 22:36

Alexander, as long as surname doesn't start with T. George is 2nd choice.

MikeUniformMike · 29/01/2019 11:28

Reuben Elijah is too OT.
Others are fine and I like Reuben Alexander most.

DarlingOscar · 29/01/2019 11:48

what's the first intial of the surname? don't want an unfortunate acronym?
