@whatsleep I knew a traveller at school called rocky boy...he's still around the are and just called rocky now!

Isadora

Overheard a Lucifer out shopping about 2 months ago. It was 100% Lucifer as the adult used the name a lot whilst performance parenting. (Cute kid though made me smile)

NopeDiddyNopeNope · 23/07/2019 17:11

Adley
Warren

Overheard a Lucifer

The TV show called Lucifer must be playing a part, surely!? 😀

Cheerfullygo4 · 23/07/2019 17:52

Not at baby group but there is a child on IG called Bonnibelle.

Bunnyfuller · 23/07/2019 18:08

Someone somewhere called hers Tia Maria and Jack Daniels. It was on a FB site that posts funny news articles

Bunnyfuller · 23/07/2019 18:10

We play a game where I talk to my DCs (teenagers) loudly, using weird names. Spent a flight to Greece calling DD1 Satan.

Fabulous.

VictoriaBites · 23/07/2019 18:15

Bunny I think you'll find it was Tiamaria and Jackdaniels Wink. The mother was insistent on that point (the story was about school uniforms iirc but got derailed by a million people pointing at the names).

userabcname · 23/07/2019 18:19

Ok so not me but my friend swears there's a Snow and a Seven at one of her baby clubs (siblings).

Shplot · 23/07/2019 18:20

I know a Jack (first name) Daniels (surname) apparently Jack is a family name used a lot but I just couldn’t

Ravingstarfish · 23/07/2019 18:21

There was a thread about a child called pancake recently Grin

solarsystem · 23/07/2019 18:37

There was a Lolita at the group's at the same time as I was. Her parents hadn't googled it and were upset about the reaction from grandparents etc.

user1199 · 23/07/2019 19:24

Just googled Lolita thinking what's wrong with that, it's pretty but what a shame with that gross link.

Erismorn · 23/07/2019 21:23

Echo. At least, I think that was his name. Every time his mother spoke to him or about him she said " E C H O Echo". Not sure if it was an affectation or if his name was Echo Echo.

ReggaetonLente · 23/07/2019 21:41

Ha - DD's middle name is Lux. I didn't think we were cool enough to use it as a first name

Bol87 · 23/07/2019 22:10

I once taught a set of twins called George & Harrison.. their younger brother was called Lennon. Grin

I guess Paul & John didn’t quite cut it..

Benjispruce · 23/07/2019 22:12

Lux? After the soap 🧼?

Minai · 23/07/2019 22:13

Jetta. Love it, such a cool name

Benjispruce · 23/07/2019 22:16

Recently heard of a Nevaeh . Apparently it’s Heaven backwards 😂

hopewardrobe · 23/07/2019 22:36

Velvet and her sister is Plum. Beautiful children and their names really do suit them.

ZandathePanda · 23/07/2019 23:39

Harley-Quinn

Not joking. She’s one.

ReggaetonLente · 24/07/2019 08:20

My mum said that Benji - I didn't know what she was talking about so maybe a generational thing? It's Latin for light, the root of names like Lucy and Lucia. I liked the sound and meaning and thought it went well with her first name.

Benjispruce · 24/07/2019 16:30

www.lux.com/bd/products.html

Benjispruce · 24/07/2019 16:31

I always thought light was Luz.

ReggaetonLente · 24/07/2019 18:16

Definitely not. I remember it from my textbooks at school! And a quick Google just confirmed.

You might be thinking of another language that uses the same root word though?
