We have a jasper already and love the name Joseph. Is it too twee to have two names beginning with the same letter? Would it even register to anyone? Would it be annoying to receive post to Mr J Smith and not know which it was for?
Or is this really overthinking?!

The post thing is definitely annoying.

I think it’s fine.

The post issue would be annoying especially as they're both Mr J Surname

Personally I would not name my children such similar names with the same initial. Smile

Lovely 😀and if you love them go for it!!

I have a Jacob and a Jude, I'm sure we will be able to deal with the post issue when it happens 🤪

I'm not fond of matching initials tbh I think that the post situation could be a bit annoying but to each their own.

I grew up in a family with 3 girls with names beginning with the same letter and it was never a problem. Official type letters usually have your full name bothers often have the middle initial if you use it yourself eg when opening an account.
I’d say go for it if you really like the name — that’s the way it happened in our family when DM and DF liked the names and weren’t following a plan.
