Jasper or Jacob

Which name would go best with older brother Noah?
As don't think I could use both names as not sure two names with same letter go together as first and middle name.

I like both names. They are lovely. But I think Jacob and Noah sounds lovely together. Either one you choose will be lovely xx

Jacob and Noah go well together but are quite a biblical pair. This may or may not bother you.

Jacob and Jake are MUCH more popular than Jasper (although Jasper does seem to be having a moment) and have been for a long time. Again, this may or may not be a factor for you.

Jasper is nicer unless child has red hair. Jacob is ok though

I have a Jacob so I’m biased.

Jasper reminds me of a cat as I’ve known two ginger cats called Jasper sorry.

Both Jacob and Jasper seem to be equal at the minute. Jacob with a name I loved with my first. My son said he likes Jacob better and asked for Jacob George. But wondered if I should go for something a bit more uncommon? Arghhhh! Why is it so hard!

Love the name Noah its lush loving jacob too it just seems to fit better xxx

Jasper is a super name, and not over used.

While Jacob is nice, it has been very popular for some years now, I know at least three.

I also prefer Jacob. It goes better with Noah imo x

Jacob / Jake is much more common if that bothers you. Jasper would probably have been rejected by my DH as too “posh sounding”!?

Popularity doesn't really bother me. I picked Noah because I loved it. Had no idea it was number 5 most popular and don't regret it because I still love the name. Think I'm leaning towards Jacob as I loved it when pregnant with Noah, but picked Noah. I still love Jacob deep down.
