Inspired by the Grandad thread!

Mine were Elizabeth and Hilda. One is a great name that I'd use, the other not so much.

I would be very surprised indeed if Gladys made a comeback, or have a I already missed something?

Paternal great grandmother: Lillian
Paternal grand mother: Sharon
Maternal great grandmother: Grace
Maternal grandmother: Sandra

Maternal grandmother Gwladys

Occurs to me that I don’t actually know my paternal grandmother’s name. She died in the 1940s, grandfather remarried, and we were never allowed to speak of her by his next wife (long since dead herself).

My nannas name was Gladys but everyone called her by her middle name of Ruth.

My grandma is Jean, everyone she knows calls her by her actual name.

Margery and Margaret

I hate the spelling of Margery-Marjorie not so bad.
Margaret is my mothers middle name and would be a middle name contender for me.
