This will be a sibling to Zachary and Nicholas. Which sounds better? Leon or Arthur?

I love Arthur.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 18/01/2019 21:08

Out of the 2, Arthur

DramaAlpaca · 18/01/2019 21:10

Leon, I think. Just. But I like Arthur too.

ToftheB · 18/01/2019 21:10

I like Leon

EllenJanesthickerknickers · 18/01/2019 21:11

Arthur for me.

moredoll · 18/01/2019 21:11

Difficult. Arthur, I think.

MamaDane · 18/01/2019 21:11

Ellieboolou27 · 18/01/2019 21:58

Leon by a mile, Arthur is the male equivalent to Maud Grin

donquixotedelamancha · 18/01/2019 21:59

Arthur, by a mile.

Brook1yn · 18/01/2019 22:01

I adore the name Arthur but I think Leon sounds better with the other names.

Hopeandglory3 · 18/01/2019 22:13

MarchInHappiness · 18/01/2019 23:06

Leon definitely.

So over all the Arthurs I am hearing now.

Picknickers · 18/01/2019 23:18

Leon. So bored of Arthur...3 in baby swim group we go to.

Butterfly84 · 18/01/2019 23:21

Leon 100%.

Leon is a strong, lovely name.
Arthur is a weak, wet name.

MumUnderTheMoon · 19/01/2019 09:38

Probably Leon as it's a little more rarely used

Schmoobarb · 19/01/2019 15:40

Leon. Arthur is ghastly IMO no idea why it got so popular

Jiggins · 19/01/2019 16:16

Leon has a nice international vibe.

Arthur is the name of a dusty old man in a dusty old mac (and the legions of mini Arthurs that are around these days)

Ngaio2 · 19/01/2019 22:25

Leon, definitely. Arthur is becoming too common and it has a fusty old fashioned feel, and I’m someone who likes classic names. Arthur got more or less forgotten after the early Middle Ages and was revived by the Victorians when the Arthurian legend was popularised, along with Lancelot etc.

Narya · 19/01/2019 22:27

They are both nice but there's loads of baby Arthurs around at the moment so if popularity of a name bothers you then definitely go for Leon

wineandcatsandlego · 19/01/2019 22:32

Arthur is currently top of our list for baby due in July. It seems to have bypassed our area for popularity as I only know of one and he lives 30miles away. Here it's all Jax/Jaxxons and Masons and Kais and Rileys.

snop · 19/01/2019 22:47

Arthur

gentlyscented · 19/01/2019 22:49
