Need inspiration

Our baby boys due date is fast approaching and we are yet to decide on a name 🙈😩 looking for help/inspiration
We want a name that is

• not common
• can't be shortened
• not American
• not chavvy
• suits all ages

Any suggestions to match this would be great as you never know where you may here that perfect name!!

p.s were in the UK

How common is common? Outside the top 50 from the ONS Baby Names list of 2017?

If that's the case then what about Luke or Austin?

Also in the 50-100 category are Felix, Rory and Caleb.

The "can't be shortened" option might not be in your control, though. Once your child starts school his friends may shorten his name if they are so inclined.

Jasper, Aidan and Joel are just outside the top 100.

Just don't let people shorten it, my dds name could be easily shortened I just correct people if they do.

I read a thread last night that a baby wasn't named for a month!! So at least we aren't alone in struggling...boys are soooo hard! It doesn't help we had a boys name for no joke 18months picked out...boom find out we're pregnant and it's a boy and he goes off of it 🙈🙈

Paul or Guy are probably the least likely to be lengthened.
