So I'd welcome similar name suggestions... I've three boys with top 50 names not on purpose, just what I felt suited them at birth.
Anyway thoughts and suggestions welcome... One of these names is my sisters grown up nieces name-not tech my family but is that an issue? She'll just have 2 nieces with the same name.

Anyway names are
Girls
Sophia
Alyssa
Annabelle
Imogen

Boys
Finley
Zachary
Lucas

You already have three boys and are expecting a girl?
Your sister has a niece with one of these names, but you don't.?
Sophia - lovely but Sophia/Sofia is very popular
Alyssa- unusual, so would be a bit strange to have two nieces called it. How about Melissa or Alice?
Annabelle - Annabel is nicer. I prefer Anna.
Imogen- Not keen.

Lovely names. No, I don't think it would be an issue having the same name as your sister's niece.

Sophia - Love this. It was on my short list.
Alyssa - Pretty. I also like Alysia but wouldn't know how to spell it as there are so many different ways. Alyssa is more straight forward.
Annabelle- Another of my all times favourites but I couldn't use it myself as it's too close to my daughter's name. Love how it can be shortened to either Anna or Belle.
Imogen - I like this. I've never actually met one in person.

Finley - I like. Also Finn.
Zachary - I like, although very popular in my area (I know five locally all shortened to Zach/ Zak.
Lucas - My favourite from your boys choices.

Oops sorry, I misunderstood. Thought you were asking opinions on the boys names too.

TatianaLarina · 08/01/2019 13:44

Love Imogen. So many Sophias.

Justus22 · 08/01/2019 13:45

Sorry I was asking about the boys names too, I have 3 boys already but I don't know if I'm having a boy or girl yet, I just have more girl options left. I'd guess boy as I'm used to boys but I have more girls names having used 3 already. It's not my niece no, that's why I'm thinking it's OK. Thank you for the feedback.

I really like Annabel - this spelling only though, Annabelle feels too overly frilly to me

And Zachary though im not that keen on Zack. I do also like Lucas but dont like Finley at all

Littlechocola · 08/01/2019 14:06

Sophia and Finlay or Lucas. Not keen on the others.

MikeUniformMike · 08/01/2019 14:08

I like Lucas and Zac (but not Zack or Zach).
Finley seems a bit girly and it will be Fin/Finn, and that's a bit of a naughty boy name.
I'd choose Lucas.

MamaDane · 08/01/2019 14:14

Sophia is very popular but cute. Imogen is nice too. My DB wanted to name his daughter Annabelle (the baby ended up a boy though) but ever since my mum mentioned that it was "the name of a prostitute" I can't seem to see it any other way lol. Alyssa is OK.

Not keen on the boy names.

doodleBugdoodle · 08/01/2019 14:34

We were going to call our daughter Sophia up until 35weeks but suddenly it was everywhere. Far too popular now. Annabel is pretty.

Shadow1234 · 08/01/2019 17:04

Love Imogen from your girls list
Zachary/Zac from the boys list.

NKFell · 08/01/2019 17:22

If I had a girl I'd go for Imogen, gorgeous name.

I quite like Annabel but Sophia/Sofia is a bit of an old lady name in my culture!

Alyssa isn't up my street at all.

Out of your boys names, I only like Lucas.

HalfBloodPrincess · 08/01/2019 17:33

I’d go for Finley or Sophia.

FWIW I don’t think the name being the same as your sisters niece (by marriage) is a big deal - my sisters daughter and step-daughter are both called Chloe! Now that’s a barrel of fun!

Icklepup · 08/01/2019 19:36

I like Imogen and Finley

Bouncingbelle · 09/01/2019 00:01

Lucas just makes me think of mucus :(
Love Finlay!

Imogen is beautiful. Id like to be called that!
Annabelle is a bit too frilly for me.
Sophia is beautiful but very popular if that bothers you.

ReginaPhalange89 · 09/01/2019 09:27

I quite like them all actually. I prefer the spelling Annabel to Anabelle.
Sophia is too common for me, but still a nice name. I think Alyssa or Imogen are my fav of the girls.

Boys are all nice, Finley is on our list at the minute. Also love Zac

AutumnColours9 · 15/01/2019 00:36

I wouldn't reuse a family members name

Girls

Alyssa....nice
Annabelle....Love it
Imogen...nice

Boys
