I started a thread about Flora with our surname and it was mostly positive. So what's your favourite of these and opinions on the others. Surname Forde. Thanks!

I love Flora and Florence out of all your choices. Flora Forde sounds perfect to me!

Willow Forde. Unique, different and very pretty. Would suit a child and adult.

Bryony, nature name without being too obvious (it’s a climbing plant)

I like the alliterative ones. They have a rhythm. Flora Forde. Florence Forde.

Florence is the best imo. Willow and Ciara are my least favourite.

Phoebe is gorgeous and would be on the list but I have a good friend called Phoebe.
Ciara is still a maybe. I liked it as initially I really wanted something Irish. DS has an Irish name and we spend a lot of time over there.
I'm just not keen on most Irish girls names due to spellings. I love Aoife but the spelling is tricky and I like Orla but Orla Forde sounds like All aboard!
I'm leaning towards Florence as DH prefers it to Flora and it has the option of Flora anyway. DH is worried about the margarine association. I do prefer Flora though.
I like the suggestions of Violet and Greta but I don't like 'Vi' as a shortening.
Greta is so cool but not sure if it's a bit too unusual for us.

Rose? Róisín? Rosanna? Lily? Lilian? Briony? Marguerite/Margaret? Erica? Iris? Cicely? Myrtle? I still like Flora, though.

I like Florence, Willow, Ciara and Alana, as well as the suggestion of Greta.

There is a sweet little girl in my sons class called atlanta I think it's beautiful and unusual but I couldn't pull it off with my other children's names. Of your list Ciara was also my favourite

Wrapandroll - you have a good sense of what I like. Lots of those I've considered.
Coralie is beautiful but I have a friend with a Coralie. I like Jasmine but imagine it on someone dark (Probably because of princess Jasmine) maybe I should see past that as it is lovely.
I love Leah but DH doesn't, Summer is a bit too girly/happy. I'm too moody to have a child called Summer
The others are nice but the likes of Eleanor, Lucy Jessica are a bit too normal and run of the mill.
Greta is officially on the list now as DH likes it (rare!!) Maybe a bit too Germanic though.
Daisypond - of those I like Roisin but she would get called Roy-sin over here. I have a friend called Briony but that's nice too. Rose and Lily both lovely but a bit too popular now. So many Lilys and Rosies around.
