I’m from Ireland and my Dh’s family are Sikh from Punjab. We are expecting our first DD in February and struggling for names that would both sides of the family would approve of (and be able to spell/pronounce). We both live in London so happy for a little bit of English influence.
Any suggestions?

I'm not very familiar with Sikh names, but having just done some Googling, I rather like Asha. Easy for all family and English friends to spell and pronounce. It means hope, according to the website I looked at, which is a nice meaning, I think.

I know an Asian-Irish couple and their DSs are Rohan and Devin.

There is an Irish name Cuisle, pronounced Cushla, which means heartbeat and similar to Sikh name Khushleen, meaning happiness. I've only met one Cuisle but I do think it's beautiful
