Currently pregnant with my first. The only name I love is Imogen.

I think it's a lovely name

PorpentinaScamander · 31/12/2018 16:08

I love it.

BuffaloCauliflower · 31/12/2018 16:08

It’s beautiful. Yes growing in popularity, but I don’t think too much.

MammaIn2019 · 31/12/2018 16:10

I love it but I’m biased, my dd is Imogen she is now 12. It had a somewhat local rise in popularity when she was born, their were 2 others in her year at school despite it not been in the top 50 nationally.
If you love it go for it and don’t worry about its popularity.

Cookit · 31/12/2018 16:34

I love Imogen. I’d have it on my list for sure however there is a relative called Imogen so I can’t.

JennyHolzersGhost · 31/12/2018 16:36

Lovely name.

ScreamingValenta · 31/12/2018 16:37

Lends itself to the very sweet nn 'Moggie' - lovely name!

Nquartz · 31/12/2018 16:40

There are 2 in DD's year at school (year 2) but I also know a couple of grown up Imogen's and it is definitely a timeless name. Lock the nickname Immy/Immie too.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 31/12/2018 16:46

Lovely name. Ds2 was going to be Imogen if a girl.

yikesanotherbooboo · 31/12/2018 16:54

I think it is timeless . I'm not meeting lots of tiny Imogens , just the usual occasional one.

SemperIdem · 31/12/2018 16:56

I only know of 2, both under 10 but about 6 years apart in age.

I think it’s a nice name, though not one I would personally use.

TellerTuesday4EVA · 31/12/2018 17:00

I think it's a lovely name & not over popular. It's one of those names that suits any age, a child, teenager, middle aged or elderly iyswim & that can't be said for a lot of names

Ezzie29 · 31/12/2018 17:09

It is quite popular at the moment, at least where I live, but it’s a lovely name and timeless as a pp has said. My niece is Imogen and we also call her Immy and Imo.

MrsScamander · 31/12/2018 17:13

I love it, such a lovely sounding name

RumbleInTheJungle29 · 31/12/2018 17:13

I have an Imogen and I adore it. We have only met one other Imogen, mine is now 6. There isn’t any others at her school in any year group. I’ve heard it is a popular name but haven’t personally found that in our area.

FluffyMcCloud · 31/12/2018 17:15

Wonderful name! I know 3 Imogens - aged 35, 14 and 7. The 14 year old is known as Immi. I absolutely live the name.

daisypond · 31/12/2018 17:15

I only know Imogens in their late teens/early 20s, no younger ones.

Mainchanger · 31/12/2018 17:16

Absolutely love Imogen. I met two toddler Imogens as a childcare student 20 yrs ago but have never met another adult or child with that name since.

CloserIAm2Fine · 31/12/2018 18:32

I love it

OrdinarySnowflake · 31/12/2018 18:45

Lovely name, classic, not massively popular. It's a pretty name.

MollyHuaCha · 31/12/2018 20:03

Lovely name

beerandchocolate · 31/12/2018 20:05

I know two little girls called Imogen (both aged 5).

I don't really get this fashionable obsession with not wanting a popular name. I mean, it's popular because lots of people like it. And you want a name lots of people like don't you?

ZebraKid71 · 31/12/2018 20:05

I like it but I hate the nns. I know a few through toddler groups and nursery and they get called Immy which I think is awful.

SirVixofVixHall · 31/12/2018 20:07

I love Imogen. I knew one when i was a child. It doesn’t work well with my surname or it would have been a serious contender for dd1 .
