Anya or Verity?

Please help. We’re tied on our final two baby girl names & have 3 days until she’s registered. Which do you prefer?

Anya, a family member was recently called this, I think it's a great name, I always know an anja who is lovely so only have positive thoughts re the name.

I really like both, actually. I would probably choose based on which sounded better with your last name. Can you tell us what it is, or maybe if it begins with a vowel, and is long or short?

Both are nice , I prefer Verity but Anya has got better nicknames/shortenings. Verity will always just be Verity.

Both beautiful. It’s a win win situation so don’t agonise. How about one as the middle name. Only deciding factor is that people might misspell or pronounce Anya as Arnya or Anja .

Anya as I love the nn Annie too!
I know two Veritys and they both go by Vez which puts me off.

Aah, so it’s about 50:50 then?😂. Surname begins with a c, 2 syllable & quite normal, I think either name would be okay with it.

Much prefer Anya. Verity sounds too much like ferrets in my head and the two I know get called Vez for short which I think is awful. With 3 syllable names they will get shortened by school friends at some point so it's a big consideration for me when picking names.
