CathyBigBalls · 28/12/2018 20:00

Been posting a lot and have finally decided on a short list for our boy. His sisters are June Rosemary, Darcie Violet and Pearl Agnes.
Our shortlist is:

George
Frederick
Moses
Llewellyn

Moses is probably our favourite, followed by Llewellyn.

Thank you

I think they are all quite unattractive names sorry.

What about

Leo
Noah
Elijah
Ferdinand
Owen
Lachlan
Lloyd
Adam
Saul
Seth
Jonas
Gregory

CathyBigBalls · 28/12/2018 20:22

Not a fan of any of them but have made our final decisions so would just like to narrow down our shortlist

Out of all of them I'd say George is my fave but as you said it's personal preference!

Topofthehills · 28/12/2018 20:31

I think Frederick or George is lovely with Pearl (and your other children too).

Peachbubble · 28/12/2018 20:41

I like George or Frederick

Phebes · 28/12/2018 20:43

Moses is a winner! Also like George and Frederick but they’re much less distinctive than Moses.

CathyBigBalls · 28/12/2018 20:47

Thank you all. I think George and Frederick ‘go’ more as they’re more old fashioned and traditional like my daughters’ names. However, Moses seems to be the only name that has stood out to me. It just seems such as lovely sounding name. Is it too out there, or will it fit in with other biblical names. I’ve noticed they’ve become a lot more popular in recent years

I really like Moses

What about

Isaac
Casper
Isaiah
Leo
Cassius
Ira
Troy
Corey
Emmett
Ralph
Tate
Ronan

AdaColeman · 28/12/2018 20:55

Frederick.

There are already a lot of little Georges, I'm not keen on Moses though it does seem popular, and Llewellyn is very different from the other sibling names, do you have Welsh links or is it perhaps a family name?

AWishForWingsThatWork · 28/12/2018 21:15

Very sorry, but I don't like any of them. I honestly don't understand the popularity of 'George' or 'Fred' either, and the other two are just ... odd.

CathyBigBalls · 28/12/2018 21:16

I think we’ll most likely go with Moses. Thank you everyone for your input, we understand that not everyone will like our names but at the end of the day everyone has different preferences.

I like Moses, I worked with two guys named Moses when I was working in the Dominican Republic so I definitely don't see it as weird or "out there." Great choice!

Bombaybunty · 28/12/2018 21:23

Definitely Fredrick.

Moominfan · 28/12/2018 22:19

It's a lovely name op x

ForAMinuteThere · 28/12/2018 22:32

Moses is lovely op. I posted on your other thread about George as I love it too. But Moses goes very well.

Ikeameatballs · 28/12/2018 22:35

I don’t like Lewellyn but the others are all nice.

CathyBigBalls · 28/12/2018 22:38

Thank you all so much x

I've put George as my number one name as I've chose that myself! Such a little boys name x
