I love Georgie for a girl, and Fred for a boy. But I can't seem to see outside of these names and feel like I need more options! Girls middle name will be Jane and boys will be Jay. Any similar names you could suggest?? Thank you!

Georgie Jane doesn't really go. Not keen on Fred.

Ok thanks, any one with any other name suggestions?

Sorry it's just me again. I think Georgie is lovely, and Jane is nice. How about Georgina Jane known as Georgie?
Freddie is nicer than Fred but it has been so popular
Freddie Jay or Frederick Jay goes well.

Thanks ladies. My grandmother was Georgina and my grandfather Alfred so would go for those as full names with Georgie and Fred/Freddie as nn 's, sorry should have said that in my OP!
I'm not totally sold on Fred but just really struggling with boys names.

Ooh, Alexander, I like that...

There's an Abel on another thread, and it made me think of Amos, which I also like.
Given that they are family names, I think that they are lovely.
Georgina Jane Whish or Alfred Jay Whish.
Check that Georgie Whish and Fred(die) Whish are ok.
Good luck.

Georgie is a fabulous name. And the thing with middle names is, you don't actually say the 2 names together very often so they don't really need to go that well together imo! Unless you wanted Georgie-Jane as a first name.

Oh and I love Fred too.

Look no further for your names 😊

MikeUniformMike · 28/12/2018 20:33

Indeed, look no further. They're great.

MakeAWhish · 28/12/2018 21:30

Do you think?! Oh, thank you! That's really great to hear. Much love xx

As an alternative to Georgina, how about Georgia or Georgette. Or Freda for a girls name.

Frederick
Alfred
