Depends on the surname.
Abel is nice but people are usually known by firstname surname, so if your surname is Bodie or Seaman or something it could seem silly.

Needadoughnut · 28/12/2018 16:58

Also, Abel is a semi common surname so it could be confusing

Icklepup · 28/12/2018 16:58

I think it's nice.

Tobykins · 28/12/2018 17:02

I just think Cain and Abel from the bible. It sounds quite religious.

I like Alexander.

ShaniceDanielle · 28/12/2018 17:31

Abel Alexander Harwood is his full name I love it just curious on what others think

Reminds me of a grown man who is a Mormon preparing the horses for construction of a house. Not a very babyish name IMO. But you do you!

MikeUniformMike · 28/12/2018 17:46

I like it. It works. Congratulations.

JollyGiraffe · 28/12/2018 17:46

I love it! Great name. Sweet for a baby, but would suit an adult man as well.

Congratulations on your baby boy!

CrimpBrunette · 28/12/2018 17:47

Really love it!

Haworthia · 28/12/2018 17:48

Love it. Abel is really solid but unusual and I love the alliteration Smile

2019already · 28/12/2018 17:48

I don’t pronounce Abel as Abel now, I pronouce it Ah-bell, after working with refugee children. I actuall love Abel as Ah-bell though and would consider it for a boy.

AdelaideK · 28/12/2018 17:49

I like it
