Dara (for a girl). I think it's nice, simple and it has a lot of great meanings. Your thoughts are very welcome!

I quite like it but I think of it as being a boy's name purely because of Dara O Briain.

I thought that too, so I'm quite worried that it'll automatically become a boy name for most people :(

Dara is another form of Daria and Darya, so I guess the connection is inevitable haha

Dara, the Irish name, is both a male and female name. The Irish name is not another form of Daria. It means Oak. And I think it’s lovely for either a boy or girl.
