Eleanor, Alice, Elizabeth or Felicity?

We're super stuck between Eleanor, Alice, Elizabeth and felicity.

It would be:
Eleanor Alice (nn Elle)
Alice Florence
Elizabeth Rose (nn Eliza)
or
Felicity Alice (not too keen on any nicknames for Felicity)

Please give us your opinions, we'd love to hear them

Alice

All your choices are lovely though my preference is Elizabeth Rose.

pallisers · 07/12/2018 17:31

I like them all except Felicity (when I read Mallory Towers I had never heard of that name so pronounced it in my head Feckilty - it has never really left me).

Eleanor is probably my favourite (although I do have a dd with one of the other names :)) but I wouldn't shorten it.

We have an Elizabeth Florence who usually goes by Eliza/Eliza Flo. We’ve always had positive feedback about her name.

I also really like Eleanor.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 07/12/2018 17:31

Love them all. Probably would go with Felicity.

Harebellmeadow · 07/12/2018 17:32

Cecily came to mind
sorry , not helpful

The shortening of Elizabeth to Eliza is a lovely nn. I like Florence Alice (I know that’s not your preferred order though) too, with the nn Florrie.

Mumshappy · 07/12/2018 17:38

I really like felicity but they are all nice names

steppemum · 07/12/2018 17:52

all nice.
Love Eleanor, love Alice, Elizabeth is a bit meh, but actually I think is making a comeback,a nd I love it with unconventional nn, (anything but Liz)
love Felicity too!

On balance with 4 nice names, I would use Alice as the middle name. (Rose is nice, but very well used at the mo)

jessstan2 · 07/12/2018 18:29

They are all lovely, classic and classy names. You have good taste in names so take your pick. Whatever goes best with surname.

Peachbubble · 07/12/2018 18:33

I'd choose Alice

daisypond · 07/12/2018 18:48

I like all of them, but I don't like Elle at all, although Eleanor is probably my favourite of your suggestions. Elizabeth (Eliza) would be my choice next.

RedDwarves · 07/12/2018 20:05

Alice.

I'm an Elizabeth and you'd really have to push for Eliza, as it's not a natural shortening. She will almost certainly get Liz or Lizzy, regardless of how you feel about it.

Hippopotas · 07/12/2018 20:09

Eleanor

I think Eleanor Rose would be nice

kenandbarbie · 07/12/2018 20:10

All lovely, felicity is my least favourite.

Mum2jenny · 07/12/2018 20:12

I loathe Liz or Lizzie as a nickname for Elizabeth, much prefer Beth or Eliza. Or even Lilibet.

bearfood · 07/12/2018 20:15

Dd is Felicity but goes by Flo. I'm biased but I love it!

mimibunz · 07/12/2018 20:19

Eleanor or Felicity (Flis or Flick)

Mamabearx4 · 07/12/2018 20:21

I have a felicity, shortened to flissy, so im biased.she doesnt have a middle name

But i like all thr names. Not helpful i know

midsomermurderess · 07/12/2018 20:26

Eleanor then Alice. Not fussed by the other two.

ellenpartridge · 07/12/2018 20:49

Alice then Eleanor

Lucyquack · 07/12/2018 22:10

Love Eleanor (doubt she would be nicknamed by anyone but the family but I much prefer Eleanor to Elle anyway) and Elizabeth. Alice is meh to me and really dislike Felicity

mishgs · 07/12/2018 22:13

Alice

Astronica · 08/12/2018 13:17

All good names and I see your dilemma! I'm not keen on Rose in the middle though as it is such a default middle name. Eleanor is probably my favourite, though I'm not so keen on Elle as a short form, so would choose either Alice or Felicity. Does any one of them sound better with your surname?

tammytoby · 08/12/2018 13:58

Felicity is beautiful.
