What are people's thought on Fleur? I think it's cute but not sure if it's abit blah. DH wants French names as all his family are French Caribbean- I do love Giselle too, his cousin is called it but don't see them that often they would be flattered if we used the name just struggling to find other boy/girl frenchy names I like! Any ideas?

AndromedaPerseus · 30/11/2018 19:39

Lovely

Yvbmioasp · 30/11/2018 19:40

It's a beautiful name.

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 30/11/2018 19:41

I think it's a bit meh.

How about:
Camille
Delphine
Amelie
Chloe
Margaux
Anais
Celeste
Lila
Lois

???

Fleur's nice. Have you been watching Fleur East in the jungle?

daisypond · 30/11/2018 19:43

I like it a lot.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 30/11/2018 20:00

Fleurgh. Not exactly the nicest sounding names is it? Confused

Mumshappy · 30/11/2018 20:02

I dont like it sorry

ernjas · 30/11/2018 20:03

Not keen but it's not bad.

imonlyherefortheAIBU · 30/11/2018 20:16

I do really love it but I know what people mean by saying it's meh. Yes about fleur east and I think she's great but it's more from Fleur Delacour that's when I first loved it

It's my SILs name and I LOVE it

ZebraKid71 · 30/11/2018 20:28

I like it written down but it's not a very nice sound.

RedDwarves · 30/11/2018 20:40

I really don't like it. It has a very unattractive "eurgh" sound, IMO.

sue51 · 30/11/2018 20:43

Pretty name.

Shadow1234 · 30/11/2018 21:05

Not to my taste but is an ok name. Prefer Elodie or Amelie.

imonlyherefortheAIBU · 30/11/2018 21:07

Lila is pretty didn't realise it was French- lovely!

My mil is French, and her name is Fleurette. I love it, is so pretty

Mumshappy · 30/11/2018 21:26

Eloise is nice

spugzbunny · 30/11/2018 21:27

Love it. It's a really pretty name

DramaAlpaca · 30/11/2018 23:19

If you have a French accent yes. If not, no. It only sounds nice in French.

empmalswa · 30/11/2018 23:26

I went to school with a Fleur back in the 80's. Loved the name since then. DH wasn't a fan so didn't use it for DD's
