Always loved Maggie.

Sparrowlegs248 · 29/11/2018 22:44

I LOVE Maggie. It was my nannas name, but I had 2 boys so couldn't use it.

Mainie · 29/11/2018 22:44

I like Harriet and Maggie, and prefer Gabriel far above your other boy names.

RickOShay · 29/11/2018 22:45

Gabriel of course. Best boys name ever.
I like Joni and Harriet our of your girls.

Littlelambpeep · 29/11/2018 22:45

Maggie and Edward would be my pick

DollyWilde · 29/11/2018 22:46

Harriet and Gabriel.

Cole and Austin too American for me, Edward a little dry. Meredith is ok, Joni is a bit try hard in my eyes and Maggie is great but a nickname in my head.

ernjas · 29/11/2018 22:47

Really like Harriet and Joni. Really don't like Meredith or Maggie.

I like Cole and Gabriel.
Edward is okay.
Don't like Austin.

Chocolatecake12 · 29/11/2018 22:47

Harriet and Edward
Both on my lists when I had my children

nomester · 29/11/2018 22:47

Maggie is gorgeous!
I love the name Austin ❤️

StarkatHeart · 29/11/2018 22:47

I do quite love Maggie 💖

My OH is set on Austin but I'm playing devils advocate with the others, my choice would be Gabriel

If you don’t LOVE one of them, keep searching.

If I HAD to choose from those lists Harri & Cole, both by a long shot.

MyCatIsAFiend · 29/11/2018 22:49

Gabriel, then Edward, for a boy.
Harriet or Meredith for a girl.

StarkatHeart · 29/11/2018 22:51

Thank you, appreciate some opinions other than my own! Who knows what we'll end up choosing but hopefully the list doesn't grow!

I only like Harriet from your girls' list.

I don't like Cole but your other boys' names are great. I really like Austin.

Highlowpo · 29/11/2018 22:56

I love Meredith and it's high on our list. Got lovely feedback when I started a thread on it. I know a 2 year old Maggie and she's lovely.

Astronica · 29/11/2018 23:05

There are 2 easy standouts from your lists for me: Harriet and Edward. Both fantastic names that I wouldn't hesitate over. I don't like any of your other boy names.

For girls I also like Maggie, but would consider if you are going to have other children which style you're going for because Maggie and Joni could perhaps be sisters, or Harriet and Meredith, but not Maggie and Harriet as one feels very relaxed and the other quite formal.

SunnyJune · 29/11/2018 23:08

Are you a greys anatomy fan?
Meredith, Maggie and Harriet are all greys names.

I adore Meredith and it means 'greatness' love that. X

circleoflife · 29/11/2018 23:09

I'm noticing a lot of Coles at the moment...

papayya · 29/11/2018 23:29

Joni and Cole

Mwnci123 · 29/11/2018 23:43

Gabriel, then Edward.
Harriet and Joni are both very nice.
Meredith is a boy's name in Welsh, so sounds weird to me for girls.

Pemba · 30/11/2018 02:03

Not Maggie the 'ag' sound is really harsh, and it's only a nickname for Margaret anyway. Not Austin, it's a surname and a city in Texas.

I like all your other choices though.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 30/11/2018 07:05

I find Maggie harsh and a bit plain. Harriet is nice.

Edward and Gabriel are lovely.

Tobykins · 30/11/2018 07:16

Have you been watching The Affair?

Harriet or Edward.

helpmum2003 · 30/11/2018 07:24

Harriet and Edward

Both have no good NN also.

greendale17 · 30/11/2018 07:30

Maggie
Austin
