Currently pregnant with baby number 4. Trying to come up with a shortlist but we’ve drawn a blank 😫 can’t think of any.

Don’t know the sex so suggestions of both please.

Dc are called Leonard, Stanley and Amelia. Not particularly bothered about ‘matchy’ Names but more along those lines than Stormi, Jayden or Balonz.

(Ps if anyone recognises me from my children’s names, please ssshhh as I’m not telling anyone until after my anatomy scan due to previous loss)

Ooh I like Eleanor.

Is it weird with Leonard though? Both have the ‘len’ sound in it.

Your DCs names suggest an Evie or and Albert

LokiDokiArtichoki · 29/11/2018 07:44

I love Albert, but it would have been the name of the baby I lost if it had have been a boy. (Florence or Juliet for a girl) so it feels a bit weird to use it for this baby.

What do people think of Elspeth?

I like the shortening of Elsie but do like having a ‘proper’ name on the BC.

(We only shorten Leonard to Lenny, the other two go by their full name)

I'd say use Elisabeth as Elspeth sounds like that name said by someone who has a lisp.

Elspeth is a great name! Eleanor was also the first name that popped into my head when I saw your other names. How about:

Flora
Cara
Lucy
Martha
Kate
Madeleine

LokiDokiArtichoki · 29/11/2018 08:17

I like Violet!
I like Elizabeth but is it inevitable that she would become a ‘Liz’? That’s most of my mums friends name 😫

I also like Martha but don’t want to use it.
I’m a huge Dr Who fan and already have an Amelia, who was a dr who companion (even though she was named before Amelia pond was in it) so cant really use Martha, Clara, rose, Rory (which I also love)
