Harley for a boy

I think we're pretty much settled on Harley, and have been referring to him as such for a couple of weeks now - I'm just interested to see what other people think of the name!

Also, I'm open to middle name suggestions, as we don't have anything decided on that front. If it makes any difference, he's mixed race - white British and Indian, with a very common Indian surname.

How about James for a middle name? Harley wouldn't be my first choice but that's personal opinion, I don't dislike it though! The main thing is that you're happy with it 😊. Congratulations!

I’m not overly keen on Harley, but like the pp said the main thing is that you like it.

WowCrabby · 12/11/2018 16:12

It’s not my favorite name but there is nothing wrong with it at all.

CalamityJane10 · 12/11/2018 16:15

I’m not keen on Harley either. Quite a few in DS’ school; to me it sounds like the DP are trying too hard to be cool. What about Harry or Hari instead?

Sidandbump · 13/11/2018 09:57

Great name! No such think as parents trying to hard to be cool. Maybe they are cool?! What is cool anyway and what will it be in 20 years time? As for middle names I think its good for a middle name to be significant. Perhaps a family name or something that has meaning to you as a couple.

Not keen. How about Davidson or Street as a middle name.
Only joking.
If you love it, use it.

MikeUniformMike · 14/11/2018 00:00

Or Quinn. Groan.

llangennith · 14/11/2018 00:36

I like the name. Quite popular these days too.

DramaAlpaca · 14/11/2018 00:38

It's fine for a boy. Not my style, but nice enough.
