Badass girl names

DS is named after old English kings and sci fi characters - he has 2 middle names and all 3 names are kings and sci fi characters.

We are now expecting DD. And after a conversation today want to name her after badass feminist women (DHs suggestion).

We've come up with Ada Florence Marie but wondered if anyone has any other suggestions? Not Emmeline as bfs daughter is called that.

I'm pretty sure there are books out (little people big something, dreams or something?) that are after women who changed the world. We have a couple. Could check those names? Also theres another kids book like 'women who changed the world' you could look at for ideas (whilst getting historical context!)
Also look online at 'Rejected Princesses' I think it's called. Some interesting women & names there!

Was reading about Flora Sandes who fought in WW1, which I guess would meet your requirements of badass.

Was going to suggest Flora (Sandes)!

The magician Penn Jillette's daughter is called Moxie Crimefighter -that is badass.

Otherwise for badass i like Blaise (though traditionally a boy's name), Hilda (means battle), Thora (means thunder goddess), Scout or Jean-Louise after the character in To Kill a Mockingbird, or even Attica after her father, Atticus.
It's not for everyone, but we considered Io (pronounced simply i-o) for our daughter.
