Sounds good to me!

Whipsmart · 08/11/2018 18:31

It's a bit of a tongue twister but I can't imagine many situations where people will have to recite his whole name out loud, so why not

Shadow1234 · 08/11/2018 20:11

Well, he will, for most part, be known as Dylan Lyle (as middle names are rarely used ), so I cant see it being a problem at all.

Picknickers · 09/11/2018 00:02

Bit L heavy for me.

DramaAlpaca · 09/11/2018 00:31

Bit L heavy for me.

And me.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 09/11/2018 07:09

Sorry it's a no from me. Too many L's.

Why William? Family member?

lebkuchenlover · 09/11/2018 08:15

No, Dylan Lyle doesn't sound great, sorry.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/11/2018 12:25

I like both names very much, but together, they do sound a bit DillyWilly !

Polkasq · 09/11/2018 12:44

Too many Ls and ills.

Bobbiepin · 09/11/2018 12:49

There's an education researcher called Dylan Willam. Never stopped him.

croissantmuffin · 09/11/2018 12:53

What Sugarpiehoneyeye said - first thing I thought of - not necessarily a bad thing just worth considering.

Sexnotgender · 09/11/2018 12:54

It’s not my favourite.

Individually the names are great but I don’t think they work together.

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 09/11/2018 13:13

I like the names but agree with others that there's too many L and Il sounds so they don't sound good together. I think William Dylan sounds a bit better.

kaylanelson · 09/11/2018 23:46

Lovely xxx

Sessy19 · 11/11/2018 12:36

Thank you all for your opinions. I love the name Dylan, and William is the name of both Grandfathers, it’s an important name in my family in general.
Fingers crossed for s girl maybe...😂

Maybe add a second middle name?

Dylan Arthur William Lyle
Dylan George William Lyle
Dylan Oscar William Lyle

It would get round the Dill-Will-Lyl effect.

TheGrassIsGreener3 · 13/11/2018 22:30

The ls are a slight tongue twister but you or your DS won't be using his first and middle names together much in day-to-day life. So go for it!

MikeUniformMike · 14/11/2018 00:01

I dislike Dylan.

Sessy19 · 16/11/2018 12:01

Given that we will only have one child, I’m not completely averse to two middle names, but choosing one name that we both like has been tough enough 😂
OH likes Blake - I hate it!
I like Daniel - OH hates it.
He also seems to think that he gets primacy on naming a boy and that I should name a girl, but I’m working on that!
How long til procreation without men comes on line? 😉😂
